352 field

On Tuesday, my 352 class went to field at New Castle High School. I have been waiting for this day all semester since I am a graduate of New Castle High School! As soon as we got there my old principle and all of my PE teachers were all so welcoming. It was good to be back. We went on a tour of the school and the teachers explained what we will be doing these next 3 weeks at New Castle. I cannot belive how much the PE curriculum has changed for the better. When I was in high school, the PE program was not all that good but now it is 100% better! The kids are doing yoga, playing cornhole, and doing jump stretch! Oh to be back in high school again! I am anxious to go back tomorrow and for the next 3 weeks :)

Scheduling

Scheduling is one of the most stressful things that Slippery Rock University has to offer. There has to be an easier way! I am going to be a senior in the fall and I scheduled last week for my last semester of classes before student teaching. However, I was unable to get into two classes that I need (one being a summer class) because they were all filled! I understand that professors are stressed and are busy as well, but they are getting peaid to help us out, so they should! That includes, answer our emails, especially if we need their classes to graduate! I am paying to get a good education, and I believe scheduling should NOT be this stressful on us!

Stress!

The semester is winding down and finals week will be here very quickly! Like every semester, the end is very stressful with trying to get big projects and whatnot done. My efolio is what I am working on right now and I am almost done with it! However, I have been working on my 352 unit plan also. If anyone has taken 352, they know how much work that thing is! No matter how good that I manage my time, I always get stressed! Summer where are you??

Volleyball Intramurals

Tonight I have an intramural volleyball game at 8:45 in the arc. This is the third week that we are playing. I play in the 3 on 3 all girl intermediate section. I am the captain of my team and I play with two of my best friends. We lost our first game. Our second game we played alot better and only lost by two. Tonight, my team and I plan to play hard and hopefully win! Wish me luck! :)
